1. Who provides the service

UNIQUE (the “site”) is run by Gabriele Colombo, Via Marciano 6, 20133 Milan, Italy, email support@UniqueIQtest.com (“we”). By using the site you accept these terms.

2. The service

UNIQUE offers an online fluid-reasoning test with abstract matrices that adapt to your answers, in two versions: full, with 64 matrices and a time limit of 120 minutes, and short, with 25 matrices and a time limit of 50 minutes. In both, each matrix has up to 5 minutes. The test is free. When you finish you can buy, with a one-time payment:

• Result: estimated IQ with its descriptive range, percentile, 90% confidence interval and position on the scale.
• Full report: the whole result, plus the analysis by difficulty level, the detail of every matrix, the PDF report, the data in JSON format and the statement of result with your name.

Prices are shown on the site before payment; the final amount, including any taxes, is shown on the payment page before you confirm. There are no subscriptions or automatic renewals.

3. What the result means

The result is a non-clinical estimate. Matrix difficulties are set in advance and not yet calibrated on a normative sample, the age norms are provisional and scores above 145 are extrapolations. The result is not a diagnosis, does not replace an assessment by a psychologist and must not be used for school, work, medical or legal decisions. The statement of result attests the score obtained on UNIQUE and has no official value.

4. Age

The test is designed for people aged 12 and over. Anyone under 14 must use the site with a parent or guardian; anyone under 18 may only make a purchase with a parent's permission.

5. Purchase and payment

Payment is handled by Stripe through its Managed Payments service: Stripe sells the content as the merchant of record through Link, collects the payment, applies the taxes due and emails you the receipt. On your statement the charge shows as LINK.COM* followed by the site's name. The terms shown on the payment page also apply to the payment.

A purchase applies to the test you took, in the browser you took it in, and the content unlocks immediately after payment. Your result stays saved in that browser: if you clear the site's data or switch device you may not find it again, so keep the PDF and the statement of result. If you have already unlocked the result, you can upgrade to the full report by paying only the difference shown on the site.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds

The content you buy is digital and supplied immediately. Before paying, you ask for it to be unlocked right away and acknowledge that, once it is unlocked, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; Art. 59(1)(o) of the Italian Consumer Code). The cases in which we refund anyway are described on the Refunds and withdrawal page.

7. Acceptable use

You may use the site for personal purposes. You may not copy or republish the site's matrices or content in bulk, use automated programs to take the test or collect data, try to bypass payment or access the server without authorisation, alter the statement of result or present it as a clinical or official certification.

8. Intellectual property

The site, the matrix generator, the texts and the graphics belong to us. You are free to share your result, including the statement of result.

9. Liability

We do our best to keep the site working properly, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for how you use your result. This limitation does not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence and does not reduce your statutory rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Each purchase is governed by the version in force at the time of payment.

11. Governing law and disputes

Italian law applies, without prejudice to any more favourable rules of the EU country where you live. If you are a consumer, disputes fall under the courts of the place where you live. Before going to court, write to us: we'll try to find a solution together.
